Dr. Caroline Robinson - Tone Dermatology
Dr. Robinson is a board-certified dermatologist practicing medical, and cosmetic dermatology in Chicago. She has subspecialty interests in alopecia and ethnic skin dermatology. She is a graduate of Cornell University and University of Louisville, where she obtained her medical degree. Dr. Robinson is active in such organizations as the Skin of Color Society, Women’s Dermatologic Society as well as the American Academy of Dermatology.
I am glad to see this. Unfortunately, I have been to a physician. I appeared to be their first patient of color, showing the physician changes in my skin related to a darkened area that is causing pain. The expression on her face as she stated, "I do not understand nor see the redness you describe," was concerning. Therefore, I will have to consult another physician. I am still awaiting a response after two weeks. I am glad your knowledge relates to a broad diversity of skin tones, as noted in the practices that is inclusive to everyone. Thanks,E.B
